BMX - need some advice

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am 37 years old and wanting to get a bmx bike so I can ride with my kids and get excercize. I am six foot and about 3 hun. I am looking at a hellcat 24 or a Haro 24. Is there other folks out there that have:
1. experience with these bikes.
2. are okay riding a 20.
3. Is there things that can be done to a 20 to make it "roomier"
I used to ride alot as a kid...now my kids want me to ride with them.....I appreciate any advice except suggesting a mountain bike.....i want to stay w/ a bmx style

you should just get a complete if your doing it for excersise. And you dont need to go over a 21 inch TT. Especially if your only 6 feet.
