I just got qan airzounds bike horn and I love it. It is extremely loud and lasts a long time on one charge.
Anyone have experience with one?
I'm actually hoping some motorist will be a jerk on my next ride so I can honk at him.:D http://www.electricrider.com/accessories/images/airzounds.jpg

I have an airzounds on my recumbent trike and I have only used it a couple of times on motor vehicles. From my experience, motor vehicles either can't hear the airzounds that well when their windows are rolled up or they just ignore it. The bulk of my time is spent on bike trails and I have a bell on my trike which I use on a regular basis when overtaking pedestrians and other cycles on the trail. On the occasions where the trail is being blocked by pedestrians or cyclists and I am not getting any response to the bell I will hit the airzounds and the trail is cleared immediately - love it!
I have used my AirZound for some years now and I feel naked when riding with an uncharged AirZound. I has really been to big help to me in traffic. Motorists shure take notice off you in a whole new way. The fact the you can make your voice heard in traffic might just save your life!
Good luck using your "lifesaver"!

I love mine, sadly I have to use it almost every day.....you might need to wait until football season to use yours!
I got one approx. 2 weeks ago and it is fantastic! I ride mostly for fitness (sadly, I only commute by bike 1 day/week) and it get's people's attention. Fortunately I've only really had to use it 2 or 3 times, though I use it as a 'just in case they don't see me' measure multiple times per ride.
Im thinking of getting one, is there any problems fitting it on the handle bars?

I've got one. It's true a lot of motorists can't figure out where or what that noise is coming from. But at least where I live, a lot of people have their windows rolled down so the CAN hear it!
It's pretty easy to install, but I had trouble pumping it up the first time. It was a little difficult figuring out which way to turn the little red thing. I thought the skinny end was the marker but it's the fat end.
I didn't have any problems fitting it on my handlebar, but I did put it right next to my stem.
I have one and liked it when I used it. However, it didn't hold up that well and within about nine months, it didn't work. I can't figure out why it doesn't work anymore, it just doesn't.
I ride in really rough weather conditions including subzero temperatures which might have something to do with it.

Try cleaning it out. Unscrew the round dial on the back of the horn. Clean any debris or gunk and re-assemble. It has worked for me.
