Commuting - Self-contained HID headlight

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This is from Planet Bike, so I don't know how great it is, but it might be good for commuters who want a one-piece detachable light, but also want HID. It has a Li-Ion battery and they claim >2 hours on high, >3 hours on low. High is 10W HID. I see it for US$330 so it's up there beyond the price range of, say, an L&M Vega.

I want to point mine straight down on either side of the rear wheel, and have a fog generator at the front forks! :)

Then we all need to ride together in formation. With mechBgon leading the way billowing out huge clouds of smoke, to slvoid's house. To bring them beer and pizza.
Three cheers for slvoids gf.................hip hip hooray ! :)
