before work last night I ended up (in stupidity) failing to do a wheelie and stayed clipped in and fell on to my back/head and cracked my helmet pretty good.. Nice start to my day.

Fast forward.. I get off work this morning at 8:30 and have to ride my ***** off to get home so I can re-dress and go meet this girl I've been trying to hook up with to go for a nice morning walk. I'm happy as hell cause of this and speeding along up hill with great speed and grace. I get home and of course can't find my regular shoes or anything and it takes forever to leave. I'm already late. I take off down a more busy road than usual because it's the fastest way to meet this great girl. I get near her place as I get a nice love tap from a toyota that that totally screws up my back wheel. I check it out and I can still roll on it to meet her and go home, my left panier is ripped to all hell (I got them last week).

I limp my ride to her place and we go for our walk and it's great, I act like an idot, she seems to like it, all is well. I go back and she invites me inside for a drink. When I'm leaving I walk to my bike on the rack and some idiot hacked away at half of my cable lock while I was inside. Apparently I must of come out just in time but still it pissed me off... So I bust up my back and my helmet (luckily not my head), tear up my rear rack, paniers, and bend the hell out of my rear wheel, then someone tries to steal my bike.

This is really making me think I shouldn't be riding.. But God knows I can't quit now..

</rant>

Sorry, had to ***** for a minute..

What a night...
Tell her she needs to put out for compensation of the grief you had to put up with just to get to her and hang out.

The thief- prolly a neighboor so next time you hang out- bring the ride inside.

Dude, YOU messed up the wheelie and escaped without injury.
YOU got hit by a car due to your admittedly hasty riding and escaped without injury.
Your lock successfully repelled a thief.

And you had a nice walk with a cool chick that digs you.

WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WHINING ABOUT?!?!?!?!

Yeah, I wish my days sucked like that.

I wonder what an average day would be? I know what a good day would be, but then I'd have to do a whole lot of repenting and die to ever see it.

You find that most ladies respond favorably to ultimatums?

Yeah it ended up working out pretty well. I'm really glad I got to hang out with her, it made my day, no matter what bad things happend. I took my wheel in to the shop to see if they can true it after I failed miserably at it. And they said they think they can fix it. The price they gave me was MUCH lower than expected so I'm pretty happy about that. Now I'm just stuck not being able to ride until tmw afternoon. Missing my team ride right now.

Turns out I have no life when I don't have my bike..

tks for the comments guys

EDIT: I got the "we'll only ever be friends" talk tonight so that just ruined the whole thing. Now just to wait for my wheel to get finished and go pound out some serious miles this weekend. **** people! I'll just ride hard and alone.
