I came on this site cause I was looking for some advice about buying a bike and to find people to ride with. Im 5'8, 185, in pretty good shape, just built. Im mostly torso, the inside part of my leg is around 28-29 so usung that 12 inch formula it comes out to be a 16-17 inch bike. It seems like most people my height on here ride 17 inches. The guy at Trek recommended an 820, which is only $260 bucks. I did see a Gt Avalanche disc 3 on sale for 300 from 400 and was wondering peoples opinions on these two, or if you had other recommendations.
