Foo - quit my job to ride.
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
i've been working at a restaurant for almost a year. I make 8.50 an hour and would work at the restaurant until early to mid august (roughly another month). I hate working their. I just picked up my raleigh supercourse, that I havn't riden in 5 months, and rode 100 miles in the past 8 days. I feel so amazing on the bike. I actually lied to get out of work the last two days and rode 30 and 35 respectively. after the 35 today, I barely felt tired, i want to ride more. Im going to college this fall and I already have some money. If i quit for the next month, I'd be giving up roughly 1250$. Man i want to ride my bike.
I quit a job at a bike shop so I could ride. Working on the damn things all day just made it more frustrating to not have the time to ride.
I got a job riding :) , best of both worlds most of the time, OTOH things change when you HAVE to ride, it isnt the same anymore
i want to loose about 13-15 lbs for college anyway. I've worked at this place for a year and they gave me a raise of a dollar about 8 months ago and thats it. Beats being broke though. I'd probably get bored anyway once the world cup is over. Say at max I ride 3 hrs a day on average, I can possibly sleep 10hrs and parties on fri, sat, sun if im lucky. Otherwise...

Here is a suggestion. You are going to work there for 4 more weeks? How about you compromise and make it two for roughly $650. Life is to short to put a price on it. Put in your two weeks notice and go ride your bike.
