What to wear underneath cycling/tri shorts? Seriously. I assume we guys might want a little support. Opinions?

If your cycling/tri shorts don't provide support, you've bought the wrong size.

And we wouldn't want you to have panty-lines either. Eeeek!

I don't think we'd want him to wear panties in the first place.

I dunno, he might look nice in panties. A Hello Kitty tanga, maybe ;)

Shhh... Tell him to wear some long underwear to the race... then we will know who he is. ;) A thong would be entertaining too (but not overly enjoyable) :D

Seriously, nothing to wear underneath. I know some cyclist who double up on the shorts for really long rides. I've also heard of people wearing tri-suits under their cycling shorts.

Hope that helps.

I'm one of those politically incorrect persons who finds bike shorts not always enough support for me. I agree that buying ones that are the right size and substantial enough (meaning probably expensive enough) is very important. But still that doesn't always cure my problems. I try to go commando, but sometimes the discomfort is just too much for me. And I am not new to cycling. I like the Izumi bib tights for support reasons, but they still sometimes seem to smash things to bits. I wish they would design shorts with more of a pouch that would keep the most important parts of my body happy.
