I didnt see this posted, so I thought I would share...

I was searching the forums for 2007 bike info and found a URL for 2007 trek bikes in the road forum. Basically I changed around the URL from road to mountain and put in the model numbers for mountain bikes. I have found so far 820, 3700, 3900, 4300, 4300disc, 4500, 6000, 6500, 6700, 8000, and 8500.

http://www3.trekbikes.com/Bikes/2007/mountain/3700.html Didnt try any FS bikes or other models yet.

Nothing really big changed, just some colors, some fork differences and a new model I found was the 6000, looks like a nice bike, has Avid BB5's on it. The 4500 and 6000 come with Rock Shox Dart fork. New model name again I guess.

looks like rockshox ran out of good ideas for their bottom end fork.. from indy, to judy, to j1/2/3/4, to dart? lol and i don't like the sticker design at all, personally the judy on my bike looks fine and better than "dart" in big bold letters.

hey look! avid has a new brakeset out: juicy 3's!

cool

i'm so getting them....... cuz i can't afford juicy 5's

and looks like they changed the x9 again... can't really see but i know it looks diff from the current x9's... maybe the middle thing (where the name is) looks like carbon fiber... and the bottom cage is black again...

That's pretty cool. Wish I'd seen this a few weeks ago. I actually just bought the Silver '07 4300 from my LBS about a week ago.

One interesting note though. The photo of the '07 4300 shows it with clips on the pedals, but mine didn't come with them. No biggie because I'm about to slap some clippless on, but just an fyi. Saw another users pics of his (exact same bike) and his had the same peds as mine.

That 6700 is sweet though. Diggin' that blue.

dude... judy's have been around for a LONG time... back then they used to actually be pretty high end... i have a Mountain Bike magazine from 2000 (sids were around back then) and they were using judy's instead... back then the low-end for rs was the jett.

but i'm talking about the name for their low end fork... you told me they used to be high end... but probably not the same fork that went on my bike... unless 5.2 pounds of elastomer fork is high end in 2000...then what was the sid then? lol

this is simply an observation but cream.soda seems very very pretentious to me. He seems like the kind of guy who you would take along on a ride and he would kill it, yah know ruin the mood.

ok great job adding to the thread topic blazin.

this is about the 07 treks, not what'll happen when you ride with me.

and no, i'm not pretentious... i prefer "conceited".

it's just that aethestics matter a little more to me than to you, but your sig shows you're not exactly the least pretentious person ever.

wanna go riding? :D

I actually think Dart is a much better name than Judy, what is wrong with it and constantly refreshing your product line?

RockShox has great stuff in store for 2007, The Totem is unlike anything I've seen before.

I was avoiding conceited because I think it's worse than pretentious, but as long as you know it, I'll go with it.

I really don't care about asthetics so much as performance. I chose X.9 because I heard far more favorable reviews about it then the X.7 and as far as my X.0 trigger goes I broke an X.9 trigger and felt it necessary to buy the better quality product.

WHY would I wanna go riding with you, if you're just going to make it miserable, no thanks. I'll take some people I know will make it enjoyable

this isn't a forum for personal attacks so stop being a troll. okay? deal. you're no better than anyone else on this forum, so stop pretending like you are by judging me. i don't think riding with you would be all sunshine and lollipops either, especially with your attitude. >.>

I´m guessing the 6000 will replace the 4900 since there is no sign of a 2007 4900 and the 6000 looks to ftt the bill, if so I´m guessing the 6000 will carry a pricetag of arond 600$ like the current Trek 4900 and will probably arrive in stores in either Spring 2007 or Winter 2006.

Just because you consantly post in the rockhopper thread doesn't make you a respected member. So, I suggest you get your head straight.

and respect the people that were here before you. People will like you much better that way.

Just bought a 2007 Trek 8000 ZR
It's very tough to find reviews of this new bike.

FRAME - ZR 9000 Alloy
Mix of Bontrager and Shimano equipment

Any major issues with this bike I should know about ?

Souds like a question that would have been wise to ask prior to the purchase...

Oh, and let old thread die.
