I had some fun today figuring how much gas it would take to haul my butt around the same distance that I rode my bicycle. Now if i drove a big SUV I would guesstimate that 2 pieces of pizza = 2 gallons of gasoline. I wonder how much gasoline that we cyclists combined don't use in a week or even a year. Sounds like it could be the beginning of a public service message to me. But then again, right now as someone else so eloquently put under their Avatar "I'm in endorphin induced la-la land"
