I was doin some dirt jumps and on the 3rd jump i hit my front wheel on the landing ramp b/c i leaned forward too early. This knocked me over the bars head first to the bottom of the jump. With my helmet on, I still saw black with stars, and heard an EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE high pitch noise. i was confused sh*tless for like 5 seconds. My jaw feels ******** too, and i had a headache. I am so glad a helmet on, I really wouldve been knocked ******** without it.

I never ever go bike riding without a helmet, on road or off road. Its a natural thing now, i just dont feel safe without a helmet on, i loose confidence going fast aswell. Infact a helmet BOOSTS my potential when riding. I am only an XC'ere but been saved by a helmet countless times!

I was riding some street one day without my helment. Came up to a turn, and it had tht sandy gravel stuff. My handle bars twisted and I went head first into the ground. Had a huge bump on my head, lose of skin all down my left side, and seperated left shoulder. I have learned my lesson the hard way, you were smart enough to wear a helment! :)

I can't bring myself to wear one when commuting. But I always wear one on trails. No ifs ands or buttts :)

Ate it pretty bad today, cracked another helmet and have some gravel rash on my left arm, left leg, back, and right hip.

Was still an excellent ride. :) Drove 2 hours to Mohican, it was worth the drive, and the ***** of the long techy climb.
