Hey guys,

Looks like I'm one of the younger members here at 19:rolleyes: Just chillen, working and taking a few classes. Trying to make enough money to go back to school full time in the Fall. I was at OU last fall but the cost is killer. I love riding my bike, hence the reason of posting here...obviously. I ride "mountain," but would like to ride road if I had enough cash.

I ride a 98' cannondale f400 with stock, crappy components. It weighs 30 pounds:eek: I'm really going to try and turn it into a nice, all around XC bike in the next few months.

Some other hobbies;
Auto detailing
Auto performance
Paintballing
Music (play the trombone)
just about anything outdoors

Peace!
:beer:

Welcome from anuthr suthner! Got quite a number of other Texhans here! (I'm not one of em.) I'm from FL! Land of Disney!

Good to see another mtn biker. The Cannondale is a sweet bike, good luck with it.

Welcome to the group! We lived in Rowlett for 12 years (loved it there - I still miss the bass fishing on Lake Ray Hubbard) You'll enjoy it here. Lots of good information and comaraderie.

there are a few 'young' people on this forum (I'm one of them) mostly though we just poke fun at the older riders :p j/k

I used to play paintball quite a bit before I got into cycling, in fact I even played in one tournament (although I wasn't all that good) but it sure is fun :D

Thanks man. I plan on visiting Florida someday. I've been there a few hours waiting to go to the Bahamas.

Cool man! I have also played one tourny. It was just two friends and I who got togethar and entered. We did ok for never really practicing togethar or anything. We placed eighth out of about 20 teams in...I forgot what class.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everone!
