Hi all
I have just finished a heavily muddy ride here in the UK with the new Time Z control pedals. They were my first spd pedals and i must confess that i was concerned at first with the ability to engage disengage quickly. As soon as i hit the trail my concerns disolved. Clip in and out quickly went on as a second nature to me but the real news is that the pedals are 100% mudproof. My shoes were TOTALY covered with mud and i mean very thick layer of mud...i said to myself that i couldnt clip anymore...to my surprise i clipped in like they were clean...no quirks or anything. While they were totaly MUDDED out i was able to clip in and out throughout a tight single track with no problems whatsoever. In one occasion i made successfully an emergency clip off on a turn were i sled sideways heavily and i saved the day for me near a river bank.
Anyway all in all...strongly suggested pedals. Bombproof and mudproof. I am lucky i didnt pick the 959s instead. Well done TIME.
