Planning on buying a new rear wheel...

-Sun City Lite

-Demolition Anorexia Hub, 11t

-Sapim Butted spokes

-Alloy nipples

The total weight is around 2.6lbs and the price w/out shipping is 187$

I'm probally going to end up switching away from sapim spokes because I dont know if they're any good.

Reason for me telling you? I'm bored.

Just get normal spokes.. anything else isn't really worth it. I'm pretty sure my friend has the same exact rear wheel, and he loves it.

butted spokes let the wheel have a little flex, which is good.

It also gets rid of a little weight.

Get DT spokes.

Greatest spokes in the world.

Loser.

Sounds like a nice wheel.
But are you going to get the Demolition Aluminium driver? Or the Chromoly?

Demolition claims there aluminium one is pretty strong...

i think the aluminum is aftermarket(?). If its not, then the aluminum.

p.s: I've decided to get the Sun city lite. I've heard good things and i personally like it better than the odyssey. And my rim wont be the same as everyone elses :) .

I'm running a pitchfork. That speaks for itself.

And if it doesn't my bike weighs 32 pounds.

29.6.....with 2 pegs, brakes, and a SEAT!

I also don't have integrated HS, or a cool BB.

American is where it's at....untill I get more $$$!!

I kind of wish my bike was heavier. It's supposed to weigh 30lb stock, but it probably only weighs like 27lb with all the stuff I did to make it simpler and smaller (most of that being pegs and brakes). The back wheel is too light, it's a rhyno lite XLT or something that weighs even less than a Hazard Light. If I got a Sun Big City it would add half a pound, and there's probably a heavier hub to get (and 48 spokes would weigh more).

why, is the weight un-porportional?

Yeah. It feels like I should have more weight in the back on manuals, and sometimes bunnyhops. It feels better with a peg on, but I don't run them unless I'm going to grind stuff.

Meh.

I was riding my freinds Fly 3Amigos a few days ago, and he has his pegs on the right side, and i ride left foot foward and it kept hitting my right hell when i tried doing manuals and other stuff, how do people with 4 pegs ride? (i know that if it were my bike i would have pegs on the left, but still)

Ask Edwin... or anyone else that rides in New York City.

Shorter cranks would probably help. And you can put your foot a little farther forward on the pedals too. Or even learn to turn the cranks a little in manuals so your foot doesn't touch the peg.
