Yesterday about a mile from my house I was sprinting to make a green light (which I did while it was still green, thank you very much) when a glance at my computer showed that I was going over 24 mph which I realized exceeded the 20 mph speed limit on this sorta back street. I still feel guilty. :angel:

Rainman a friend of mine once got a traffic ticket
on the main street of W. Asheville for exceeding the 25 mile per hour business dist. limit and some other friends of mine and I descended the blue Ridge pkwy. limit 45 at more than my computer could read that's over 60 but luckily we were not caught, that's federal you know so you are not alone.

All speeding motorists should be sentenced to riding a bicycle instead of driving a car. I can live with 4 miles per hour over the limit in my neighborhood.

Sounds good to me, Pete.

And how about: all city officials should be required to ride the bus to work at least two days a week.

I think public transportation would improve dramatically.
