I'm so going to school there.

They have some friggin' awesome bike shops in the area.

I got to ride a Litespeed Vortex while I was there.

The shop gave me some Litespeed socks. :D

Oh, the bike chews.

It's overpriced, flimsy, and ugly.

But Boulder... Boulder is cool...

Well the Vortex is, in person.

It just looks goofy with the way the tubes are shaped.

Sorry I didn't call, I was busy looking at bikes on Sunday, and Saturday was spent shaking important people's hands at the University.

I went to school in Canada for 8 years, Tim Hortons are everywhere, I don't drink, and I get my Pogos in the mail.

Yeah, that's ****ing Boulder to you, buddy.

Most engineers I know are egotistical a-holes who think they can improve what doesn't need improving in the first place.

Sounds like my ex-girlfriend, and she didn't even have a clue about engineering anything but an argument.

I sense a shift in the playfulness of this thread....

Being a Liberal Arts kind of guy, the engineers I attended college with and know to this day are in general focused and very detail oriented. Several of them are out here on BikeForums and are wonderful people.

Your generalization about most engineers is not my experience.

I went to an all engineering school and all we could think about was getting laid and blowing things up. As for the egotistical thing, that wasn't my experience. YMMV.

Also, I just noticed that fiddy referred to himself as a "man". Does that mean he lost something?
