Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Its not a long distance by any means (60 miles) but its a route Ive never traveled. I tried Mapquest but cant get it.

Is there any places on the net I can find to help plan this route? In the car, its all interstate, I want to stay near the interstate of possible.

Thanks

this is probably more appropriate in the touring forum, but just to help you out -- normally I use a combination of bike maps (in Massachusetts there's a company (http://bikemaps.com/) that publishes a pretty useful trio of maps that covers the entire state) and GMap Pedometer (http://www.gmap-pedometer.com) to chart out routes. Your local bike shop might have similar maps on its shelves.

Using MapQuest, they have an option to Avoid Highways under 'Advanced Options'.

That is a great way to start, then plot it out on gmap.
