My kitty loves me. She purrs when I touch her. She nibbles me gently if I touch her tummy. Ouch! I love my kitty, too!

She cleans herself so expertly, I don't have to do it. Lick, lick, lick.
Oops! There goes another furball!

The aroma filtering through the downstairs hall tells me she is done. Time to clean the litterbox! :D

My kitty has taught me that there is only one thing I love more than her: the dog I had.

I had a dog, her name was "Strudel." She was free, given to us by a friend who loves us.

Strudel had a sister. The t.v. set fell on her and she died. They think Strudel may have suffered a lot of guilt from that accident.
Thats how we got to keep her!

Strudel loved us in many wonderful ways. She loved the carpet, back porch screen, my favorite chair, and lots of other things. Strudel loved all these things to pieces. Thank, you Strudel.

We gave Strudel to someone we loved. We'll miss you, Strudel!

Pete, you must have a lot of free time in your daily schedule.

My kitty (boozie) doesn't like me very much anymore, especially since the birth of my son 2 years ago. My cat used to have loads of pictures taken of him. He used to travel to visit family members. Boozie used to tell me all the time that he would like to play tennis with me as soon as his thumbs grew. Now he just kind of runs to vacant rooms in the house, in attempts to hide, as my son chases him saying, "no no no!" :) Here kitty, kitty.

Cats are noted for that, aren't they! They generally don't hold grudges, but it appears to me they make an exception where jealousy is involved. It may be of another (usually younger) cat, or of a human newly arrived in their territory.

With my cat, Katie, there's just me and her, sixteen years together this year. We've had our differences but usually get along well. I'm jealous of her ability to sleep but she doesn't seem to envy any of my attributes.

She's placid and common-sensical, and I think it's because she's a country cat, born in my vet's barn. My vet gave Katie to me a few days after my second cat had to be put to sleep.

That's a cool story Pete,

We had a Ladrador called Sam, I was only very young when he was put to sleep because of cancer, but I remember his huge tollerance for patience with me when I used to ride his back...

Animals are top aren't they!!! :D

I had a Golden Retriever named Rusty, he was the coolest dog. But his dad had hip problems and the breeders lied to us about it, and so my dog rusty wound up with hip-dysplaisha, a really bad case of it actually. So I had to put Rusty to sleep, his hips were so bad the vet couldn't even rebuild them. The people who sold me Rusty had no business breeding dogs. I hate them for it.

Back in January my wife and I got our first dog. We got it from the pound. It is a german shepard/beagle/hound mix. She is a cute dog. Looks loike a german shepard but has these long floppy ears that float in the wind or when she runs. The cat is not doing well at all with the new addition. She hates my wife now because the wife pays more attention to the dog then her (the cat).

We got the dog to try and prepare us for children some day.

WE ARE NOT READY FOR CHILDREN.

Hi Fubar,

I can understand your grief mate, but you've got to concentrate on the good times you and Rusty had together...

Nothing can take that away from you..not even when a loved one passes over.

My dog was suspected of "dogslaughter" when she allegedly pulled a tv set down on top of her sister and killed her.

I guess next time I get a pet, I will do a more thorough background check.

I suspect it was a frame-up!
I bet her sister was just watching TV way TOO close & space aliens did it! Surely a Sumo dog would not do such a thing.
