Hi All!
I am new to this forum and wanted to do a shout-out! I mostly run to stay in shape but I've been mountain biking for a while. I ride a Gary Fisher Marlin thats a few years old. It's the blue frame with the orange flames. It's a great bike but I have been wanting to get on the roads and plan to buy a road bike this September. That's actually how I found this forum! I have several bikes in mind and would appreciate any advice. I won't test ride until I get closer to the purchase but here are my leanings:
Trek 1200 or 1500
Specialized Allez Sport or Allez Elite
Fuji Roubaix
Budget is a concern. If I went with one of the more expensive options, I might have to wait for bike shoes and some biking clothing. Let me know what cha think!
