How about Athena? I bought a set from these folks a few months ago. They don't seem to have the levers though. You probably know that campagnolo also made the Monoplanars as Mirage? I have 3 bikes with Monoplanars: Chorus, Athena, Mirage & they appear to be identical. go to http://cgi.ebay.com/1994-1995-Campagnolo-Athena-Monoplaner-Brakeset-NOS_W0QQitemZ200006095872QQihZ010QQcategoryZ42331QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks I knew Campy made a few models as Monoplanars, but did not remember which models... Thanks for the link to the Athena, not sure if it's what I'm wanting, just sampling the waters right now.

I remember liking the design and look of the Chorus models, however those Athena look almost Identical.

They have slightly differrent tire guides on the pads for the Athena & Mirage but I think you can still buy the chorus type pads with the chromed guides. They all seem to brake the same. These are good brakes & I like their looks.

Same seller, Jones bikes previously had Chorus monplaner brakes caliper sets for the same price, with the better brake block holders and guides, The Athena calipers are a different as well. Not bad just less expensive all around.

Thanks... not sure what I'm going to go with. Part of me wants do a period correct assembly, another part wants to make a modern classic where the frame is classic, however all the components are modern, much like the modern day refined Hot Rods with air, tilt, cruise, disc brakes...etc

Seeing as Monoplanar Chorus is about early 90's stuff, it would not be period correct for my intended frame :(

I may as well go modern day stuff, if I did not do period correct, which should be Campy Super Record, I think. ~1982

I just have always been a fan of the 1st gen Chorus.
