Anyone have any recommendations for 1" carbon forks? Threaded works best for me, but I could go for threadless if needed. Looking to put it on a mid-80s sport touring Trek, which has long reach caliper brakes and fenders. I want the new fork to have fender clearance and match the geometry of the current bike, so I figure a cross fork would be better than a regular carbon road fork. I take it as a given I'd have to go with a V-brake in the front. Can a front fender be mounted on a carbon cross fork?
