General Cycling Discussion - Something wrong with the forums again?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I remember I had 210+ posts but today when I logged in, it was only 206, 207 after this post. Is there something wrong? Was it that some of the topics were deleted so my post were deleted too?

I'm not really concerned about the number of post anyway. What I'm concerned is whether there is any problems with the server or something which might cause the whole bikeforums to shut down for a couple of days. I really hope nothing is wrong, this is a GREAT forum!!

There may have been some thread pruning. I don't think server problems would cause you to lose posts.

I'm glad I didn't lose 30 or 45+ posts... I'd have a negative post count!

When was that last really bad crash we had a few years ago? When we had to hideout on a sad little site for a few days and we all lost quite a few posts and users? But it was worth it, because when Joe got the site back up, it was awesome, and there where ads for Russian girls....  Hubba hubba!!
