What's the frame size? If it's anywhere between 58 and 61, it's a piece of junk. I saw some PSA sent out by Leader saying that there was some kind of screw up in the factory and that all the frames have to be disposed of by a licenced Leader frame-demolisher. By lucky coincidence, I am just that! So, for your own safety, send the frame to me. Including the components as they've now been tainted by the frame (it was some kind of curse or something, eternal damnation, rashes, etc). I'll PM you my address.

Only if Mette Fischer from Team Sats/Pinarello came with it, otherwise...no way!! For those of you men who don't know who Mette Fischer is....let me enlighten you...while I wipe the drool from my mouth...

Huh. O.K. in the same thread I posted over on the Road Bike forum, a guy was basically commenting that I have too thick of bar wrap on the bike. It's Gel-Cork and it's one wrap and it's nice and comfy, so my hands don't go numb.:) If my hands go numb and I steer off the road at 30 mph... that nice thin bar tape, will have helped me how?! Now you guys know why I prefer being over here in Foo most of the time. Geesh.

I notice that you posted stock pictures, rather than one of your own. I therefore deduce that the reason for this is that you don't have one either. Leaping from that conclusion, I have to ask you to be a sport and share with cycle17 the information (from your own experience?) on where to make the return. :p :D

Yeah, so, ummm...when's the TdF for women? Is there one? If not, I find that incredibly sexist and also real real stupid.

cycle17
07-12-06, 09:08 PM
I could be wrong, but I don't think there is one (TDF for Women). But they are part of other major races and have their own protour. Mette rode for Team Sats the last few years and was sponsored by Pinarello, but I'm not sure who she's with this year. She's so beautiful. Umm-Umm.

Ever seen the hot women mtb'ers? Yowza!

Barely interesting side note: Your thread in the Roadie forum discusses TT position, handlebars, etc. The same thread in foo discusses hot women cyclists. If this was HS, the Roadie forum would be a very fit chess club and the Foosters would be the super horny, athletically challenged/gifted A/V squad.

Nice ride Cycle17, but couldn't you afford to buy ALL the spokes?

cycle17

^^Thanks Stacey! :D

Umm...spokes...yea...well I was on a bugget...:p The next set of wheels will just have three big spokes in the front and one single giant solid one in the back!:p ;)

I understand, sometime you just have to stick to that budget. I'd be glad to send you a few bucks so you can get those wheels completly laced. I'd hate to see you wad all for a few dollars you didn't have to complete the wheel. You know, safety first and all that :D

Leader rules eh?

If I wasnt still growing I would probably have one of the fixed frames. I wish they made a CX frame...I would be ALL over that.
