Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Other than craigslist and ebay, are there any other online sites that barter/sell bike framesets? I've also checked out nashbar and performance bike, but I was hoping for a larger selection. bikesdirect has cheap complete bikes.

Never bought from them myself, but here is a site with a decent search feature and a good selection.

Hmm....at the moment the site isn't working... hopefully they still exist. It was a really good site for bike fitting information and you could even pick components by weight. It continually calculated the weight and cost for the whole bike as you went. Really cool...

Excel Sports, Nytro and Colorado Cyclist has frames for sale online. Competitive Cyclist does too, but the prices there tend to be a little on the high side. Sorry I didn't post links - if you Google the names, you'll find these vendor.

I've bought a bike from Colorado Cyclist and Hi-Tech and can comfortably recommend either.

Surly offers some nice frames at reasonable prices, but I'm not entirely sure where to get them.

Bike Man has a large selection of frames. I have never bought anything from them, so I have no idea about their customer service and all.

Just to be somewhat more complete, I found a great thread in another subforum that lists many great online retailers of general bike stuff:

IRO looks affordable.
