i have been looking for some information on how to do this. My fork is a z1 freeride 2 from 2004, it has 130mm and i was curious how to do this modification. Information on doing this to dirt jumper would work too, as i beleive they are very similar. I'd like for knock is down to like 90-100mm. also, would it make my fork stiffer? short n stiff, thats what i'm shooting for

Are you bottoming the fork?

Yeah, it can be done but you will have to send it to marzocchi to do it for you.

So give marzocchi a call

that sounds too complicated and probably costs money, and there would be time off the bike :( If it is anything like the other forks i've changed oil on, don't i just put in a shorter spacer?
