I have a set of Judy XC 1999 and wondered if you can get the new XXX seals put on them?
Or is it worth investing in a more up to date Shock?

personaly I hate Rockshox. I can't answer your xxx seal question but depending on the ridding you do maybe you might get a better upgrade. Marizochi's Z1 is great for XC, Freeride, dirt jumps, and i've seen a couple used for DH. also the Dirtjumper fork is very good but only for jumping and big hits. I have a Shiver SC its a good 5" travel fork, which is pretty burly and has taken what I dish out. other companies that make good judy size forks is Bombshell. I hope I helped a little as microscopic as it seems.

Are your seals leaking? what do you plan on doing with the fork? XC...something a little more aggresive? I personally like the judy for xc stuff...but other than that...go with something a little bigger. Marzocchi makes some nice stuff....Rockshox has the psylo....I'm honestly not sure on the xxx seals though, I haven't ever checked that out.

I reccomend upgrading since Rock Shox makes no parts available for any fork older than 2000. Anyway XXX seals or shower caps should fit the 99 Judy XC.
