Hi All,

I am a new rider and enjoying my neighborhood early morning adventures. I have lots of friends who ride and I finally had to get going and hopefully join them soon. Some of them ride 50 miles and perhaps someday, that is my tentative goal, I will join them. For now, I am enjoying riding at my pace and will gradually increase mph and distance as I need to listen to my body because of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I am finding that riding is much more pleasurable than exercising in a gym, but am also aware that at some point I might need to visit there to build on muscle strength.

I hope to make some friends here on the forum. Any advice for newbies is most welcome.

Cheers!

Linda

IMHO riding the bike will do more for building muscles than any gym. Take your time. You'll get there.
