Today I passed my most ever mileage for a year. That number was 1307 miles I did on my hybrid in '99. I just can't believe it's only July. My goal for the year is 2000 miles. At the rate I'm going, I'll pass that sometime in September.
Gosh it feels geat! :D

Good job. I'm a bit ahead of my last year's total, too. I hadn't planned it. It's just happening.

I am logging my exercycle miles along with my bike, and combining the mileage, I am at about the same place you are...
Great job!
My goal is 2006 miles combined, and my trusty spreadsheet says that if I keep the same average per day, I will finish the year with over 2200. My weekly mileage is increasing because of getting ready for a century, so I should reach 2500 this year. My previous best year was under 1,000 miles (I think it was over 850, but forget where that year finished).

It sure does feel great to pass your goals. I have been cycling less than 1 year but have seem my monthly totals increase.
I started the year with a goal of 1000 miles. At the time, I didn't know about BF but after finding it and this group, you guys inspired me and I will pass my goal hopefully next week and start on my new goal of 2000.

Way to go! Too bad everyone in life can't surpass thier goals. I'm shooting for 5400 miles this year. Currently at 3100.

Wow! Great job! I can't imagine hitting that many miles. If I didn't need to work however...
Thanks, everyone. I've been out of town riding in northern Minnesota since Thursday.
The past three days, it's been over 90 degrees and today when I got done riding it was 103! I thought it felt a bit warm. Anyway, these past three days I've done 142 miles. It's supposed to hit 100 again tomorrow. I'll probably just ride in the morning.

When I set the goal of 1000 it seemed pretty lofty but when I joined this group, it seemed pretty puny. Anyway, I will surpass it this week and today I came home with a new Specialized Alez to make me want to ride more (if that is possible). I'm like Megaman.....if I just didn't have to go to work.

As of today, I have ridden over 1000 miles this month!! See what happens when you're under-employed?
Great reports all the way around gang!! 1000 here, another there......wow-if we added them all up the total would be off the charts!!

Great achievements by all, keep those legs spinning and the miles will quickly add up. It is great to hear about all the goals and miles that each of you are achieving.

I was going to post that I've just hit 600 miles this month. I broke my old record for a month by over 200 miles. It wasn't planned, the moon and stars sort of came together so this could happen. I hope this record for me doesn't last too long.

I normally reckon on about 300 miles per month but I am cheating at present as I don't have computers on all the bikes. What has surprised me is the 800 odd miles logged on the Road bike. Only had it a couple of months but the milage does seem to be going up on this one. The Tandem computer stopped working in May- the Mountain bike hasn't had one on all year, so Milage is not really bothering me at present. What I am worried about though is the enjoyment of the rides. I seem to be on that road bike too much for my own reputation.
Well done on the riding. Just keep on enjoying it.

Riding for enjoyment is the only reason I ride. But I like to see what I've done and if I'm riding enough miles to plan for a longer ride.
My taste for riding has changed in the ten years since I started riding again. It's no crime to change rides. The only crime that could happen is not changing a ride just because you've done it for awhile.

Got in 744 this month - probably a pr for me. Would have had more but bike down hard 5 days for broken spring in brifter (Campy Record). Repaired for ONLY $56.
