Bicycle Mechanics - campy rear hub & cassette choices

I have the chorus 10-speed drivetrain. What choice do I have on the rear hub & cassette? Can I use everything for
8/9/10 speed? any combination would work with 10-speed cassette?

You are pretty much limited to Campy's own hubs or Mavics, etc. with a Campy compatible freehub body. Campy cassettes are pricy but not nearly as bad as some of the aftermarket conversion cassettes.

Campy 8-speed hubs are unique and now are orphans. Avoid them. Campy 9-speed hubs and 10-speed hubs both take either 9 or 10-speed cassettes.

You certainly aren't limited to Chorus if you get Campy hubs and/or cassettes. Any of Campy's various group hubs and cassettes will work with your shifters and derailleurs.

however, there is an adaptor that connects to your deraileur that can tailor the cable take so that you can mix and match campy and shimano deraileurs and cassette/hubs. Otherwise, shimano and campy 10 spd hubs and cassettes are not interchangable

There are many manufacturers of Campy compatible wheels/hubs besides Campy and Mavic. Just be sure the hub has a Campy compatible freehub body rather than Shimano.

Campy cassettes are somewhat overpriced. The sweet spot in the lineup is the Veloce 10 spd. cassette; it works as well as Centaur/Chorus/Record, doesn't weigh that much more and will outlast the high end ones with the alloy cogs.

hello. what are the possibilities for mixing shimano & campagnolo? I have a 105 hubset, so can I use a shimano cassette and campy shifters/derailleurs? if not, why? me no understand no good, okay?
