so my ****** brother broke my favorite pair of sunglasses last week and my dad said he would pay like 20 bucks to buy me a new pair. i saw some on ebay but i dont like sunglasses unless they pretty much mold to my face like gogles all most, so that no wind is able to vent in around the sides of my heads where on most sunglasses there is a opening.
very hard to explain but i hope you guys could understand?
anyone know a good way of finding a good pair.
i found some on ebay that looked really nice. cycling sunglasses that were only like 15 with shipping and they were certified sunglasses, and the guy gave a garentee and had great feedback. i want to get a pair i just dont know if they will fit right, and if they dont fit right when i do get them, it was a lost 15 bucks.

help guys:rolleyes:

"no wind is able to vent in around the sides of my heads" I hope that is a typo otherwise it will be really difficult to find sunnies for you.

I know what you mean. I have a pair of red wrap around sunglasses, they have a little bit of foam so that all of my vision is through the sunglasses. I don't see any light through my peripheral vision. I don't remember what brand they are, I got them for like 25 at nashbar.com. I can't find them now though.

I got Wiley-X SG-1, you will NOT find a better pair of glasses. Not from Oakley, not from Rudy, or ANYBODY!!

I was on a quest to find the perfect pair and all the big names like Oakley, Rudy, etc... did not work for me. I finally found these and was so impressed, I ended up buying 3 pair. You can pick them up on Ebay for $30-40 (slightly out of the range you mentioned).

I have been using them for a year now and love them even better than the day I got them.

They are glasses or goggles (you can take arms off and attach goggle clips). They are very rugged (used by Army special forces, and have been shown to save a guy's eyes from grenade shrapnel).

I'm telling you....these are the BEST!

Yeah, pretty much.
On the bright side, since everything is in b&w, I only have to use 1 color receptor in my eye and my resolution triples!

I watch a lot of drag racing.I love the Pro Stock's.They are the closest races in the pro catagory.
Quite often, because the cars are so close in ET'S, the race is decided by the better reaction time of the driver.

I saw Jim Yates down on his luck but running good go from cutting dog slow lights to being THE quickest leaver for a period of about one month. He said he wanted to thank his new sponcer for that and he gave
Wiley X a big thumbs up.He wone with their name on the side of his car and their shooting glasses on his face the first time out with them.It was all in the reaction times.Everyone was quicker they just couldn't catch him because he left them so quickley reacting to the starting lights, and believe me driving and shooting glasses is nothing new to drag racing.
Been eyeballing them ever since.

Just homobhobic I think. Either that or strongly in denial

Homophobic adolescant. I think almost all adolescants are homophobic by default....it's something not typically grown out of until mid 20s (that whole "comfortable with who you are" thing).

+1

Beat me to it.

I got them also because the lenses are interchangeable. So I got the glasses/goggles on ebay for about $40. Then got prescription inserts. So on days I don't wear contacts I pop in the prescription lenses. On days I wear contacts I use the original lenses. If I ride at night I pop in the clear lenses that came with them. I use the regular temples in the car etc and the goggle strap riding or other athletic activities.

I do have some fogging issues sometimes in goggle mode. But once I start riding again the airflow takes care of that.

Are the lenses gray?

Are the lenses gray?
No...just a trick of the picture/light. They typically come with 2 lenses (they make about 10 types as they have interchangeable lenses). The "normal" lense is like a normal dark sunglasses lens, but they have amber, clear, and many other color options.
