Im 16 and i want to get into flatland but i need some help from u guys/girls if u wud help me? Is 16 too old to start? what decent bike to start off with? Anything else i need to know?:confused: :rolleyes: and thankyou to n e 1 that replies:D

16 is DEFINATLY not too old to start...i know a few people that are over 25 and just starting so go for it man.

it's really hard to tell people what bike to get when you have no idea what they are looking for in a bike. One person might ride better on a POS Wal-Mart bike than they would on a $1000 bike. Its all about feel. if your just starting out, get a cheap bike, once you get the feel of things and you realize what you are gonna want in the bike, then you can figure out what you can upgrade or what new bike you are gonna want.

If you have some experience with riding, than you probably have some ideas as to what it is you are looking for in a nice bike. DO NOT look at price. It only measures a bikes quality up to a certain point. Its only about what works for YOU! Only posers buy the nicest bikes, just because they are the nicest, not because they can ride them well.

Call Cyclone cycles or Custom riders, both shops are run by riders and they know their stuff.
If you want to ride just flat, then a flatland bike is fine, but if you ride any strret or mini, then a pure flatland bike may be a bit too small, I ride flat,mini,a bit of vert, and a concrete park near my house so a pure flat bike wont do it for me.
