Don't know what ut is. But the snakes on plane trailer looked like one of the stupidest movies ever to possibly visit the theatres.

I thought that whole thing was a joke on the Colbert Report till I saw the trailer. ??? Who's making these movie decisions?:eek:

Samuel L Jackson has lost my respect for ever with that crap. It's as if Pulp Fiction was never even made fer crissake!

Makes me think of the Night of the Lupus, and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

The problem with this movie is that they are making it bad deliberately. It therefore defeats the purpose. Movies that are bad are funny because the people that made them wanted them to be good ie Battlefield Earth, Plan 9 etc...

In this case the people making are making it 'bad'. How is that amusing? It's just stupid.

That's the thing though....the movie does suck, and they know it. Sometimes movies that refuse to take themselves seriously are a riot....take evil dead 2 for example.

And Jackson is doing it just because of the name of the movie being the entire plot of the movie....he threatened to leave if they changed the movie name.

The Alamo Drafthouse theatre in Austin is doing a video contest called Blank on Blank. Basically contestants will get assigned a movie name: Lions on a Bus, Warthogs on a Skateboard, Walruses on a train, etc. and have to create a short movie. Fun!

go look at 1980s porno for a fantastic example....I really don't see how it excited anyone...between me and 6 of my friends at the time watching it (two were women) some of the comments:

"What the heck is that....did this guy just bring a vienna sausage to a kielbasa contest?"

"what is that sound coming from that woman's mouth...."
'I think it's a pig grunt'
"where the hell would a woman learn a pig grunt"
'It's like the army....don't ask, we won't tell.'

"ladies....since when was a mullet sexy"
'never'
"since when does porno and a whitesnake concert go hand in hand"

"what just happened here"
'didn't you go to sex ed...you know when the act is finisihed..'

Porno's in the 1980's were not deliberately bad. Rather the rise of videotapes enabled anyone to make a porn movie, hence the poor production values. Haven't you seen Boogie Nights?

Say what? Samuel L. Jackson has been in ****-ton of movies (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000168/), and most of them have been garbage. I know that I would certainly star in a horrible pile of crap movie every now and then if it meant I'd be making as much money as he was.
