Does Continental make a 4 Season Grand Prix in a 32? I have 25s on my roadster and would like the same great ride on my touring bike.

Thanks for the tips to come.

The TT2000 used to be the standard touring tire, it's been discontinued and replaced by the "Contact". My experience with these tires is the GP 4-season wears a lot faster but has a better grip (especially on wet pavement) than the TT2000. I have no experience with the Contact, but the TT2000 is a bit closer to the GP 3000 / 4000 series of tires.

I haven't considered the GP 4-season for touring, with a lot of weight on it I think it would wear a lot faster, maybe too quickly for a tour. I get about 2000 km from a GP 4-season on the rear on my road bike. The GP-4-season is only available in sizes 23, 25 and 28.

I am going to order a set of the Schwalbe Marathon XR tires to replace my Conti Town & Country tires...I have heard nothing but AWESOME reviews for the XRs. Enjoy!

I'll ditto that. I did my last 3 tours on a pair of Conti's, but I had nothing but trouble with rear flats. I even went through 3 tubes in one day.

I bought a Schwalbe for one of my commuter bikes and have been very pleased. I like the puncture proof system too. It seems to work well without having green goop oozing out of the valves.

I've just ordered two for my tourer. They are not cheap, but if they save me from one flat it will be worth the difference.

Panaracer T-Serv for Messenger 700x35c or 32s are a true high pressure folding, kevlar beaded, supple fattie with good flat protection. can't give them a mileage disclaimer, i haven't worn thru a pair yet!

if you want to keep using Conti's, running standard Gatorskins in a 32 might be an option for you...

also, if you entertain trying some gravel roads and the like, the Conti Travel Contacts are a very, very nice tire with superbly designed and ample center strip for speed... i think i run my 700x37 Travel Contacts at a relatively high 90 PSI as well, these are definetly rated higher PSI on the sidewalls than many fatboys and higher pressure than the discontinued Conti top tourers.....

The Panaracer Urban Max is available in 32mm. It is a very tough tire.
