Hello all,
I have been lurking and been on the reading end of lots of good info, help, and fun (sometimes heated) discussions that this forum has to offer for a while now. I finally thought that I would sign up and add to the mass. I really enjoy this site and hope to meet some posters for a face to face and some good riding. I am new to this forum, but have been riding for over 4 years as a commuter, roadie, and mountain biker. I enoy the sport and the people I meet. I really enjoy everything about the lifestyle and its benefits (as a disabled former Marine, it helps me to shed the stress, frustrations, and extra pounds that come from everyday life, as I can really no longer run for distance due to injuries). I hope to contribute to the forum and possibly give back at least a little of the vast amounts of knowledge that I have obtained since entering the sport. The only thing that I hate about the sport is the obsession (just ask my wife, I am a sucker for every little gadget, doo-hickey, new product, and extra that comes along in this sport, hence the new Seven, garmin 305, bibs, jerseys, etc, etc, etc) that it has given me.

Here's to interacting with more and more of you and to lots of good times (and a few bad ones, cause it can't be rosey all the time).

Dan

Welcome from another NC BF semi-newbie. Don't think I've seen any other Triad riders yet?
