General Cycling Discussion - Alternate frame pump attachment

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I bought a Topeak Road morph, and was trying to figure out the best location/method to attach it to my diminuitive frame (it's a rather long pump), but before I could my dog ate the mounting hardware! Well, not consumed...but trust me, no longer functional.
Does anyone out there sell mounting brackets that would work with this pump? Is something like that even available, or is it an item that only comes with pump purchase?

contact Topeak. Their CS folk are usually very helpful.
contact Topeak. Their CS folk are usually very helpful. Indeed. Their CS was so good to me, I'm a Topeak banner carrier for life.

Yes. You can get mounting hardware from them, or your local shop. I bought an extra set to use the pump on my second bike. The same goes for Cateye computer sensors and cables.
Lots cheaper than 2 pumps or computers.

Two Velcro One-Wrap zipties to front fork or top tube. Works nicely.
I used a cheap wrenchforce pump's mount. The kind that mounts under the water bottle and is a lot more secure than that wimpy topeak mount :)
Jarery, do they sell those separately? I don't want to get another whole pump...and I'm with you on the "under the water bottle mount".

There's not much room for a frame pump on my Bianchi Veloce, and I was somewhat disappointed with the mounting bracket supplied with the Topeak Road Morph, so I removed all the mounting bits from the pump and use a couple of Velcro™ ties.

Not sure if they sell seperate. I had the wrenchforce pump first, threw it away cause it sucked, kept the mount, and bought the road morph.
You might want to try your local lbs and ask if they have any 'parts'. Most places have a ton of parts like that, they prolly just give you one if they have it.
