I own an Acura RSX (think super civic). I'm looking for a bike rack before I move this winter. It's a hatchback, and I'll probably need to open the hatch, so "trunk racks" are out.

The trailer hitch on it is a simple iron loop of some kind...not one of those big square receptacles. Does anyone know if there is a rack that can work with this? Is it possible to install a square receptacle? I'm on my way to ask another bike shop, but the only one I've checked so far was at a loss.

That isn't a hitch. It is a tow hook. You should check out eTrailer.com and see if there is a 1.25" reciever hitch available for your car. I installed a Hidden Hitch on my Mazda MPV in less than 45 minutes without any help, and using only common hand tools.

Thanks for the info. Just checked out the website...I think I'll end up ordering one of the two 1.25" hitches that it recommends.
