friday night, my friend was hit by a silver bmw with a partial mass. plate number of 32W. this was on huntington ave. near mass. ave. the driver made a u-turn from the right lane on the eastern bound side. we were traveling west. luckily my friend is alright, but that does not change the fact that his rear wheel is completely destroyed, and he could have died. i am just trying to get some calls to the police with info on the car, or even just concern. i am already have a check on the plate to find how many silver bmw's have that same series of numbers.

good luck! i got hit last week by a driver that then drove away, and i only got a partial plate. the cops said that although it might be enough information to find the car and driver, they still might not be able to do anything about it, because they couldn't find anyone willing to be a witness, etc, which is pretty annoying. conversely, i have a friend who got hit on saturday, and the guy drove off but a whole bunch of firefighters saw the thing, and now the dude is in jail. rad.

It's my understanding that they put you in jail first, then give you a trial, then send you to prison.

we called the cops on the spot, and they were quick to respond too. there were also witnesses on the side walk.
