Not today. 100 miles yesterday and 100 on Saturday at the Michigan MS150 though. Missed my personal best by a bit but I only got passed by one guy the first 90 miles. My younger brother, a real newbie met me for the last ten miles and really slowed down my pace. Thermometer on the computer was reading 102F (pavement temp)

My usual two short rides per day. High 90s at midday, and 107 at 6:00 p.m. The 107 felt cooler. It is clipping my average speed almost 1 mph.

Work, heat, and humidity are not my friend

That global warming drek is communist propaganda designed to neuter the virility of consumerism.

Dammit.

94F, 32 miles. Actually, it was really great because the bike path was nearly vacant of walkers, dog walkers, rollerbladers, and other bike traffic. I was glad that it was so hot, and I am going to go out the same time today, in hopes of a similar ride.

Yep, this morning. It was only in the 80s, though. This afternoon it's supposed to be 100 with a heat index of 105, Code Red ozone day, and very humid. I will ride slowly and drink lots of water. I'm not stoopid.

Sure, I ripped off a 20 mile ride after work just for the fun of it yesterday. I love hot weather.

Yes, just a 30 minute ride at 8:00 pm. Wanted to wait until the last possible minute to ride so that the sun was low in the sky. It was about 85 degrees. I have had a cold and the pseudofed is dehydrating me, so I wanted to take it easy. Today seems even hotter and more humid. Of course, in the Philadelphia area, there is no such thing as a dry heat.
