I am surprised it isn't just treated like an "accident"-- since vehicular "crimes" have been largely decriminalized in the US. Ordinary driving on a suspended license is treated as no big deal.... you literally have to kill someone before anyone notices.

Both Bob Gehring and Marshall said Monday they wanted to focus on their loved ones and not the man accused of killing them.

"I'm not wasting my emotions on that person," said Marshall, of Villa Hills. "Terry wasn't like that either."
I hope this attitude brings the survivors peace from the tragic loss of their loved ones.
