I had to buy it. It just sounded to perfect. I was concerned that it might be too small, and prolly will redo the stem/ bar setup, but have bout a hundred miles on it so far and wow. What a precise machine. Standover is just right.Very comfortable. I took it off road a bit at a gravel pit tho I`m not really an off road rider. But they closed a section of the road that I used to ride on a lot when I was in school and I wanted to see what they had done to it and if I could get to the other side. I ended up on some pretty ruff stuff and no road at all, thru a muddy bean field (cuda used the biggest tires here) and had a blast. I used to pass interesting looking side roads while on my trusty old Nishiki Cresta. I`d gaze down the rocky rutted or sandy lane then glance at my inch and an eighth tires and just sigh and go on by. Well no more. Rock or Road I`m on it! I was amazed that I got it so cheap (by new prices anyway) especially with the unused Beckman panniers!
Oh well. Thank for lettin` me go on about it. I`m an old fart just gettin` back into bikin after a looooong layoff and I dont have any biker friends anymore. Just wanted to share my good fortune with someone who understands how a 1400 dollar bicycle and pannier setup could be considered a steal.
