Mountain Biking - pikes or .....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Unless you want to change your reach/bar location, I wouldn't bother.

What do you mean by some pikes? Are you talking about the fork? If so, I think one Pike will be fine...you don't need to get any more. :p

and what if one set brakes, or a want 2 for some strange reason? :p

What's wrong with the response? I guess I have to clarify...if you are short on money and are wondering what to change, I wouldn't bother with something you are not sure about. You'll see much more of a performance difference from a fork than a stem/handlebar change.

But you actually have two brakes on your bike while you only have one fork.

Why not have that someone build your entire wheel, soudns like you don't know what you're doing.
