Where they both riding the Soloist Team?

I thought that way earlier in the tour, but it's the new Carbon Soloist SL (I think...). Apparently lightness to rival the R3.

The black paint makes it look like a Team from a distance, but the paint scheme has kind of a white to black fade on the down tube.

yeah, and if you read Cervelo's marketing copy on it, only someone who "doesn't get it" about the soloist carbon will want this one.

From their newsletter two days ago. At least they are admitting most don't need this weight savings....


Price for the SLC-SL frameset will be USD $4,500, complete bikes prices and spec will be announced later. Is it worth the additional USD $1100 to save 200g? There is no doubt the best value is the regular Soloist Carbon, because as mentioned before, the 200g will not make much of a difference in performance. But if the ultimate is what you are looking for, the only way to get it is through the extremely high costs of making a frame that is superlight while aero and incredibly strong. Because Cervélo will not sacrifice its standards, the SLC-SL has the same stiffness properties as the regular Soloist Carbon and of course just like any other Cervélo, it passes all our safety tests, including our stringent frontal impact tests that virtually no other carbon frame can withstand.
