Id say, he will carry this feeling over for tommorow. Its gonna be worse too. I was pullin hard for him and george.
Sucks
GO LEVI ! lol
Nah. I think he's gonna fight to see if he can get a podium finish at least. There are a lot of variables that need to happen for him to get it, but perhaps...
I'm crossing my fingers, toes, eyes... everything!

+1. I'll be rooting for Floyd.

No like Oscar P. Two units of Packed cells at bedtime and he is good to go. Autologuous of course. Remember boys keep the HCT below 50!!!

I think he's gonna fight alright, but a podium finish? You gonna need to borrow some fingers and toes to cross I think. 10 minutes back with less than a week to go he's gonna need a miracle. Several miracles. And a whole lotta EPO wouldn't hurt.

He's not coming back from that. Even if he's feeling really good, the top 10 contenders aren't going to let him get away far enough to make up that much time.
It was certainly sad to watch all the lower ranked riders go straight past him on the way to the summit.

Less than a week to go? He's really only got two stages where anything can be done about the time loss...
I think the only way Flandis can win now is if he borrows Harry Potter's cloak from Robbie McEwen and gets in on the first breakaway tomorrow... but I'm not sure if the cloak will foil the tracking device on the bike. Hmmm......

Yep, just emphasizes the point...he's got almost zero chance at winning (even he recognizes this) and very very little chance at the podium unless things go amazingly well for him and amazingly horrible for...well, everyone else currently in the top 10.
If he were able to do "something special" I'm behind him all the way but it just seems so unlikely at this point. He's had a pretty good race, nothing to be ashamed of, esp. with the hip thing and all.

hopefully his surgery goes well and he'll be back in the next year or two. I want him to win a tour more than anyone else.

Well ...... yes. I wasn't going to mention it but that's pretty much the way I see it.
I don't think he'll end up in yellow but wouldn't it be nice to see a podium placing?
That yellow BMC can go back to the factory now...
No, it's mine. I already called dibs on another thread, which as we all know is a legally binding agreement recognized internationally. :D

Turns out that bike might be needed in Paris, after all.
I think we all prefer this one.

-Q: What do you do to deal with this at this point?
-FL: Er… I don’t know… drink some beers! (laughs) That’s what I’m thinking about now!

What a great lesson in never giving up. His break away was amazing.
I stayed glued to the TV through the stage just wondering what the peleton was thinking. How could they just let him go like that?
It continues to be the most bizzare and interesting Tour for years.
