I knew Moto did Swiss... did not know that Peugeot did as well... and as late as '81... huh. Good thing I asked. Hate to bust on that fixed cup in the wrong direction!
My 1980 PKN-10 is definitely Swiss-threaded, as was an early 1980s Carbolite 103 specimen I briefly owned. My original Stronglight fixed cup is gold-colored, perhaps to denote the LH thread, but I don't know if this was a universal feature. The Swiss threading did catch me by surprise*, because all of my previous Peugeots, circa 1970-1974, were French-threaded.

*When I couldn't unscrew the fixed cup anticlockwise, I tried briefly "nudging" it clockwise, to try to break it loose. To my surprise and embarrassment, it kept turning easily ... :)

You are correct... it is Swiss. You got to me just in time cause I threaded the adjustable cup into another French frame... briefly considered the Swiss possibility but dismissed it and was about to start working it over when you posted just in time! Thanks!
