first road bike ever. and to say the least, im hooked. its takes alot more focus than i imagined. anyways, heres my bike a 1997 look kg171 team edition with campy chorus and a tad bit of athena. not a smige of shimano anywhere on it. even the cables are campy. smooth as butter. ive ridden a aluminum road bike and this rides soooo much smoother. heres a pic

Nice bike!

What's the frame made out of? How much did you pay (if you don't mind)? Congrats!

its aluminum lugged carbon, really sweet ride.

lol well the only fish to survive the last holocaust (i spilled some antacids in the tank) was the plecostumus. i havent had the money to spend another 50$ on more chiclids so i figure "hey why clean it, im sure he likes it like that" poor little thing, i dont think he can keep up with it.

it didnt cost me anything, i traded my mt bike for it a 2002 kona stuff with a few upgrades

Nice ride! And you're gonna love that Koski contour saddle. NOT! I have one just like it and hate it. Like riding on a board.
Really is a nice bike though. Have you ridden that saddle much yet?

i wasnt going to say anything but...that thing is horrible, i dont understand why anyone would buy it. is it light? after 10 miles i would have given 300$ for anything but that, even a slr (actually the slr is pretty comfy). so yes, the thing strait up sucks.

What kind of cichlids did you keep? I'm a bit of a fish enthusiast myself :) (Also a very expensive hobby once it takes hold . I guess they were dwarf since a 29 gallon is too small for more than a mated pair of medium sized cichlids. Well concerning bikes... I really like your bike!
