General Cycling Discussion - (mods please read)Requst for sticky topic or sub forum for pet talk

Im sure many many of us like to talk about our pets and share stories about them ive seen many forums on the net with off topic forums where you can talk about what ever you want. I think it would be nice to have such a forum here or even just a sticky say in this forum we we can talk about our various pets such as dogs cats or what ever other odd ball pets we might have.

After all every one with pets loves to brag about them just like we brag about or kids (if we have kids that is) Again just a request for some place to go on about or various animal friends.

It's really not unreasonable to want to talk about unrelated things with people that you share a common interest with. Fortunately Joe has already made an accommodation for just this purpose.

Get my point? Sorry but we don't need anymore off topic threads. I am sure there are plenty of excellent pet forums elsewhere.

Foo is a programming term meaning "nothing" or "miscellaneous". When writing a sample function programmers often call the function foo.

I ran over somebody's dog today in my car. First time i've ever done that in my life. Seems ironic, because we just got our first dog since we have been married, a couple weeks ago. Either way, the little weiner dog came flying off a curb on a busy street. I had no time to react.

Needless to say, it was an awful scene. Fortunately he died immediately. NO suprise considering the viscious impact. I called the Police and somebody from the pound came and scraped him off the road. Damn that was wicked. Hope I can sleep tonight. :mad:

Sometimes I think that people lay awake at night trying to figure out how to start all sorts of silly threads. Time would be much better spent sleeping so there is plenty on energy for riding. :)
