Yeah that was a great article, considering that i'm from south durham, right near rtp. I do see a fair share of commuters out here though. I have a car, but I don't plan on buying one again. There are some roads that I would rather stay off of, and sometimes it gets interesting finding ways around them, but theirs always another way.

That's a really encouraging article. It's a wonderful antidote to some of the other things one reads (e.g., those radio morons in Portland), and an indication that bicyles as transportation might really be catching on again in some quarters...
