What do you and your best friend like to do when it is just the two of you?

My best friend doesn't ride. He doesn't have much in the way of hobbies. And he lives on the other side of the continent, so I don't see him much. When one of us visits the other, time alone (when his wife is sleeping) typically is spent playing computer games. It's my chance to play some turn-based strategy games and his chance to criticize my insufficiently aggressive play. No need to spend it talking about other stuff since we talk plenty on the phone when not visiting each other.

Laugh, enjoy eachother, be loud. Not anything specific.

You just can't be best friends with someone if you don't laugh all the time.

Anything - 'cause just being with your best buddies is enough. Anything more - whatever it may be - is just a bonus.

Being together with my best friends (whom I refer to as my 'heterosexual life mates'), it's amazing how much we're on the same wave length. There's so many inside jokes and inside stories that muttering a single word as obscure as "manatee" or "strings" can set off a lengthy discussion or a raging fit of laughter.

We have had some pretty amusing conversations....such as after watching the anime "Ghost in the Shell", we got into an "Is personality at it's most basic level acquired over a person's lifetime, or is it genetic?"....this lead into a rather twisted, sick, and very wrong (yet quite hillarious) discusison...went from everything to "how can this person know what they like until they experience it...me for example" to "dude, where is the kinky sex gene then....or the gene for liking Ford over Chevy...what now, huh?"

As he lives in California now....that's about all I can do unless one of us visits the other. Luckily all of his family and many friends still live here in FL, so he comes back about every two years or so.

My best friend is very different from me, but a person who is fun. He's a music/concert person, likes parties (especially if his N.E. Patriots are playing) and is generally a great guy to just hang out with. He'll say anything...to anyone, so you never have to wonder what he's thinking or where you stand with him. In that way...we're kind of alike. Unlike me, I don;t think he takes enough time to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak.

Well I have two best friends one is my SO and other is a girlfriend of mine. With my SO we bike, take dogs for walks, watch movies if time allows, get in it on, go camping, go hiking etc. :) With my girlfriend, we eat out, go shopping, talk, all those simple things. She is not outdoorsy at all so it makes it hard to do the things I REALLY like!!

We mostly ride bikes and work on our own bikes. But if there is a junker bike on the side of the road, its a PARTY!

drink, ride, argue, reminisce. he's a conservative, i'm a liberal. but that's o.k. his wife's a liberal, too. so he's always outnumbered.

hehe my best friends live near me and i see them just about every day so its awesome. and like crono said its the same with us. itll get quiet for a sec then someone will say a specific word or make a wierd noise and everyone will just start crying of laughter because its a secret code and we all remember something about that word or sound and we talk about it and relive it because of how funny it was when it happened. and it never gets old.
we game it up on xbox while we do this, or go swimming or ride bikes to WackArnolds or something

Mostly hang around in his garage and work on his car, eat, drink, be merry. Hasn't changed much in 35 years.

We used to get into our cars after we had detailed them out (my T/A and her Camaro). We would take off my T-top, put down her rag top and cruise them around the Friday nite crowd. Then we would laugh as these little wannabes would try to race us with their imports. Sometimes I would take them up behind the police academy where there is a private road I have access to just to take them on and show them a thing or two about speed.

Ha ha. Not bad for a couple of old ladies! :D

Make fires (although, my neighbor did call on me...those b**tards), play oblivian, ride (now that I convinced him to get a specialized allez elite double :D )
