WABA sent me an email today telling of TDF viewings with cycling fans and happy hours at the Lucky Bar. No time mentioned, anyone know? Anyone been and know if audio exists? How large a crowd?
Anyone know of other locations in the DC area that make for good TDF viewings?
I'd speculate some sports bar next to a major LBS might be good such as Ramparts, or perhaps the Asylum where the bike messengers and alleycats hang out might have something, or maybe something near Citybikes, but I haven't been to any during the TDF.
My experience is the Crystal City Sports Club shows the Tour in every room amongst their many tv's, but usually no audio and no cycling crowd.
