Does anyone know if this is possible.

I have a steel track frame that does not have a rear bridge mount for a road brake and also does not have holes for bottle mounts.

Is it possible to find a frame builder and have him take off the rear mount and weld a new one(or drill a hole) that will take a rear brake, also to drill holes for a bottle cage??
If it is possible does anyone know somebody in Colorado that can do it?? In Denver area...

I took it to several bike shops here in Denver and none of them would even consider drilling the hole for a bottle cage, is this because of liability issues??

I just don't understand why such a big deal for several of the lbs's.....

Brazing in bidon mounts and replacing a brake bridge is pretty easy. Plenty of bikes use rivnuts but I wouldn't take that approach with an unknown tubing. Everything you do will, of course, void any warranty.
