Hello all
I'm a 41 year old Texan who started cycling about 2 years ago. I was a long time runner until my knees just couldn't handle the pounding anymore (had surgery on both knees at different times, last surgery was.....about 2 years ago.) I used to cross train on a Schwinn Traveler back in the eighties and enjoyed it alot. I've really enjoyed being back on a bike and currently ride a Felt F70. I've been riding alone for the last two years but am now interested in joining a cycling club. I ride anywhere from 25 to 33 miles, 3 to 4 times per week.

Well thats about it. Thanks for the forum.

Howdy. Class of 87 here. You should have no problem finding a cycling club in central Texas. Welcome to the forums. PM me if you ever get to the Dallas area, maybe you can hook up with us for our Saturday morning ride out of Richardson Bike Mart.

Howdy,

Class of 89, we were both there when the Ags were good, although I think McGee has alot of promise. I saw this kid in High School and he is an excellent QB, he was just overshadowed by Shipley who went on to tu. I am one of those who does not like coach Fran.

Thanks for the offer to ride. I'll let you know if I'm up there. Likewise if you're in the Austin area.
